Tenth lining (also called tenthlining or tenth line numbering) is the practice of placing a number in the right-hand margin beside every tenth line of a court document — so line 10, line 20, line 30 and so on are labelled. Kenyan courts require it for pleadings, affidavits, submissions and court bundles because it lets judges and advocates reference an exact line during hearings.
Which Kenyan courts require tenth lining?
